M44 Building Company has been invited to join a consortium of concerned companies and engineers working towards restoration of the destruction of Hurricane Dorian on Abaco Island and Grand Bahama on September 1st. Dorian was the worst hurricane in the history of the Bahamas, delivering in excess of $8 billion USD in damages, and leaving thousands homeless.
Working alongside the engineers, M44 is designing Category 5 service buildings for the crews moving into the restoration efforts, providing safety and security for the teams and their equipment. The project is a massive effort to restore basic services and the plans are moving forward cautiously to ensure the delivery of products and services that meet the most urgent needs of the local communities and their people.
As we confirm the designs and timelines, we will include these buildings within our scope of products and services.
